Banneton, oval with cotton lining, for proving homemade bread dough on the second rise to shape an oval loaf. The basket can be used unlined for the pattern of the basket to imprint the dough, or lined for a smooth finish. If using unlined, dust with flour before proving. Handwash only, use firm bristle brush to release any wedged flour. Store completely dry. Made from rattan in Vietnam.
